ch – Chain
dc – Double crochet
FP – Front post
sc – Single crochet
tr – Treble crochet
tr2tog – Treble crochet 2 together (decrease)

FP tr2tog instructions

Yarn over twice
Insert hook under front post & pull up a loop
Yarn over, pull through 2 loop on the hook – 2 times
Repeat the above steps for second front post
Yarn over & pull through 3 loops on the hook

Pattern:

Row 1
ch multiples of 4 for desired length then start in 2nd ch from the hook
sc in every chain
ch x 2 & turn

Row 2
dc in every stitch
ch & turn

Row 3
sc x 3
Drop down to row 1
FP tr2tog in 2nd & 6th sc
*sc x 3 (in current row)

Drop down to row 1
FP tr2tog. 1/2 in same stitch as last FPtr, skip 3 stitches, 1/2 in next sc stitch*
Continue the pattern of *sc x 3, FP tr2tog* until there are 3 stitches remaining
