Make Adorable Pipe Cleaner Easter Bunnies — Easy DIY Spring Craft
Creating Pipe Cleaner Easter Bunnies is a fun, quick and adorable crafting activity that will bring a playful touch to your Easter decorations. With just a couple of simple materials and a few minutes per bunny, this project is great for kids, crafting groups, or last-minute handmade gifts.

What you need:
- Colored pipe cleaners
- Scissors
Optional: extra small decorations (pom-poms, beads, etc.) if you want to add tails or faces.
How-to:
Step 1
Select a color of pipe cleaner. For the size shown here, use two matching pipe cleaners per bunny and twist them together end-to-end so you have one longer piece. If you prefer a smaller bunny, you can try using a single pipe cleaner.
Step 2
Shape the bunny’s head by forming a rounded loop. You can do this by hand or wrap the pipe cleaner around a large drinking glass or similar as a guide. You only need about three-quarters of a full circle to start.
Step 3
Bend the remaining length of pipe cleaner at the opening of the circle to form one long ear shape, then repeat for the second ear so both ears are formed from the excess ends.
Step 4
Bring the two ends together and twist to secure, trimming any excess with scissors. Adjust and fine-tune the head and ears until you are happy with the shape. Use your first finished bunny as a guide for shaping additional ones.

Tips & ideas
- For younger children, supervise use of scissors and assist with twisting and cutting.
- Make a variety of sizes by using one or two pipe cleaners — smaller bunnies are quicker but take a little more precision.
- These bunnies work well as table decorations, place-card holders, or small handmade gifts.
Have fun experimenting with colors and sizes — these simple Pipe Cleaner Easter Bunnies are a cheerful and easy addition to your spring crafting projects.
