Super Easy Advent Candle

Advent candles are a cherished tradition during the holiday season, bringing warmth and light to homes and hearts alike. Lighting each candle on the Advent wreath symbolizes a week leading up to Christmas, marking the anticipation and preparation for the birth of Jesus. The gentle glow of the candles creates a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, reminding us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the blessings in our lives. As the flickering flames dance, they serve as a beacon of hope and joy, guiding us through the darkness of winter with a sense of unity and togetherness. So, whether you light your Advent candle alone or with loved ones, it's a simple yet profound ritual that brings a touch of magic and tradition to the holiday season.

Materials:

  • Candlestick(s)
  • Paint pen
  • Ruler (I used centimeters to fit the size of my candle. A 9 1/2″ candle perfectly fits 24 centimeters and therefore 24 days).

Instructions:

  1. Measure out your 24 days on the candlestick
  2. Mark with paint pen, labeling one side with the days and the other side with dashes or dots
  3. Now you have your advent candle! Watch it melt down the days until Christmas!
