  • Tea light Candle

Instructions:

Start by cutting up little squares or rectangles of tissue paper.

  1. Using a paint brush, cover one side of the glass with modge podge.
  2. Use your hands to lay the pieces of tissue paper on top of the modge podge.
  3. Repeat on the other sides
  4. Add another layer of tissue paper pieces on top to cover any holes. Let dry.
  5. Add a layer of modge podge overtop of all the tissue paper. Let dry.
  6. Cut a piece of tissue paper using the anchor punch. You can find a anchor punch at craft stores or order one online.
  7. Paint some modge podge on top of tissue paper and place your anchor down.
  8. Cover anchor with more modge podge.

  1. Wrap jute or burlap around the top of the candle holder. I chose to braid mine for an extra touch.
  2. Add a tea light candle inside the jar.

This craft is such a cute idea for a summer decoration or even centerpiece at a nautical party. Place the candle holder on top of a plate and fill around the plate with sand, rocks, shells and other accessories! Enjoy!
