Row 1- 1 dc in fourth ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 4, turn. (21 dc)
Row 2- 1 tr in each dc across. (21 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Row 3- 1 dc in each tr across. (21 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Rows 4 to 25- Continue to alternate 1 dc row and 1 tr row, ending with a dc row. Ch 4, turn.
Row 26- 1 tr in each of next 4 dc, ch 11, skip 11 dc, 1 tr in each of last 5 dc. (keyhole made) Ch 3, turn.
Lace Edge-
Row 27- 1 dc in each tr and in each ch across. (21 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 28- 1 tr in each dc across. (21 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Row 29- 1 dc in each tr across. (21 dc)
Row 30- 1 dc in each of next 6 dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip 3 dc, 1 dc in each of last 7 dc. Ch 3, turn.
Row 31- 1 dc in each of next 5 dc, ch 1, skip to middle of shell (ch-1 space in the middle of shell) 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in that ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip next dc, 1 dc in each of last 6 dc. Ch 3, turn.
Row 32- 1 dc in each of next 3 dc, ch 1, skip first dc of center shell, 3 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip next 3 stitches, 3 dc in next dc of shell, ch 1, skip next dc of shell, 1 dc in each of last 4 dc of row. Ch 3, turn.
Row 33- 1 dc in each of next 3 dc, skip first dc of first shell, 3 dc in next dc, skip next dc of shell, ch 5, skip first dc in next shell, 3 dc in next dc, 1 dc in each of last 4 dc of row. Ch 3, turn.
Row 34- 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, skip to the second dc of next shell, 3 dc in that dc, skip 2 ch, 1 dc, ch 1,1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch, skip next 2 ch and next dc, 3 dc in next dc of shell, 1 dc in each of last 3 dc of row. Ch 3, turn.
Row 35- 1 dc in next 2 dc, skip all the way to the central dc of first shell, 3 dc in that dc, skip next 2 dc of central shell, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc of central shell, skip first dc of next shell, 3 dc in middle dc of shell, 1 dc in each of last 2 dc of row. Fasten off, weave in tail.
Join Shocking Pink to opposite side of scarflet.
Row 36- 1 tr in each dc across. Ch 3, turn.
Row 37- 1 dc in each tr across. Ch 4, turn.
Row 38- 1 tr in each dc across. Ch 3, turn.
Row 39- 1 dc in each tr across. Ch 3, turn.
Lace Edge-
Rows 40 to 46- Rep all the rows of the lace edge you made on the opposite side. Fasten off. Weave in tail.
