• Paper plates
• Orange acrylic paint
• Black sharpie
• Ribbon
• Stapler

Halloween Basket Craft Step by Step Directions

Start by painting the underside of two paper plates orange. If you flatten them white painting and crafting, you can easily pop them back into shape.

Let the paint dry completely.

Once the paint is completely dry, stack the two plates. Cut the top from the plates.

Next, draw a jack-o-lantern face with a black sharpie. Again, if you flatten the plate while drawing the face, simply pop it back into shape.

Then, after you’ve made the face, staple the paper plates together. Be sure to leave the top unstapled for now.

Cut a strand of Halloween-themed ribbon to the desired length. Add to the top sides of the paper plate and staple in place. We stapled twice to make sure it was fully secure.

Lastly, and the best part, get ready to fill your paper plate basket with all kinds of goodies! You can use it as a Halloween purse, too!
