Starting the Apple

  1. Magic Ring: Make a magic ring and crochet 6 single crochets (sc) into it. Then pull the ring tight.
    • Round 1: Slip stitch (sl st) in the first loop and chain 1. (6 stitches)
  2. Round 2: Make 6 increases (inc), 1 in each stitch around.

    • You will have more stitches after this round.
  8. Round 10: 30 sc without changes.

Decreasing to Shape the Apple

  1. Round 11: Dec, then 1 sc in the next 3 stitches repeat till the end.
    • sl st and chain 1.
  2. Round 12: 24 sc without changes. (24 stitches)
  1. Round 13: Dec every third and fourth stitch together repeat around.
    • You will have fewer stitches.
  2. Round 14: 18 sc without changes.
    • Add fiber fill to shape the apple.
  3. Round 15: Dec, 1 sc repeat till the end. Finish stuffing the apple here before closing.
  4. Round 16: Make 6 decreases across the round.
    • sl st, leave a long tail for sewing, cut the thread.

Closing the Apple

Stem
