Yarn: 180m/100g; worsted, 100% cotton, 190 yards/100 grams
Need: one skein per 8 hearts
Hook: 2 mm (it perfectly holds the shape with a small hook); B-1
Size: width 8 cm x height 6.5 cm; 3.15 in x 2.55 in
Needle, hollow fiber stuffing, 2 pieces of beads for eyes, stitch marker
Time: 90 minutes

CH – chain
SC – single crochet

Start with a chain. We crochet around the chain, start with a CH 2, continue with SC, end with a SlSt.

Heart body, pink, hook 2 mm
1st row: CH 19

2nd row: hook to the third loop from the hook, SC (insert the stitch marker), then 7 SC, CH2 (bottom top of the heart), 7 SC to the following loops, 3 SC to the last chain (insert marker to the second SC), continue on the other side of the chain, 6 SC, skip CH2 (the middle “v” part), 6 SC and last SC to the loop with a marker, SlSt.

3rd row: CH2, insert the hook to the same place and make SC, then double SC, then 8 SC to the following loops (last stitch under CH), CH2 (the bottom top of the heart), 8 SC (first stitch under CH), double SC, double SC (here is the marker), double SC, continue on the other side, 5 SC, skip CH2 (the middle “v” part), 5 SC, double SC, SlSt.

4th row: CH2, insert the hook to the same place and make SC, then double SC, double SC, double SC, then 9 SC (last stitch under CH), CH2, 9 SC (first stitch under CH), double SC, double SC, double SC, double SC, double SC, double SC, then 4 SC, skip CH2, 4 SC, double SC, double SC, SlSt.

5th row: CH2, insert the hook to the same place and make SC, then SC, double SC, SC, double SC, SC, double SC, then 11 SC (last stitch under CH), CH2, 11 SC (first stitch under CH), SC, double SC, SC, double SC, SC, double SC, SC, double SC, SC, double SC, SC, then 4 SC, skip CH2, 4 SC, then SC, double SC, SC, SlSt. Finish off.

Make the second part of the heart, do not finish off. Joint two pieces together with a SC. Make three SC in the bottom tip and four SlSt in the upper “V” part of the heart. Do not forget to stuff the heart before you finish off.

Face Mask, white, hook 2 mm
1st row: CH 9, leave a long thread
2nd row: hook to the second chain from the hook, SC, then SC to the every CH, turn. (7)
3rd – 11th row: CH2, hook to the same place, SC, then SC to SC, count, last stitch to the CH, turn (7).
12th row: CH2, hook to the same place, SC, then SC to SC, count, last stitch to the CH, then CH6, finish off (this is the loop of the face mask).

Make CH 5 or 6 from the long thread at the beginnig of the face mask (other loop of the face mask). Embroider the smile to the mask. Sew the loops and the bottom part of the face mask to the heart. Sew the eyes on the heart. You can add the loop to the heart so it could be hanged or add a key chain.
