Materials
- 1 sugar cone
- 1/4 cup Cheerios
- 1 cup Birdseed
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 10 inches yarn or string
Instructions
Cut the tip off an ice cream cone with your fingers or a knife. Next, thread an 10 inch piece of string through the hole in the tip and tie a knot at the end so you can't pull it through the cone.
Thread some Cheerios onto the string. Add as many or as few as you want. Leave at least 4 inches of string bare so you can hang it when you're finished. Make a knot at the top so the Cheerios don't slide off.
Cover the outside of the cone in peanut butter.
Roll the cone around in bird seed until it is completely covered. Use your hands to add bird seed to gaps or uncovered areas.
Your bird feeders are complete and ready to hang outside!
