Row 8: ch 1, FBSC in each stitch across. Finish with a simple SC in the ch-1 from the previous row. Turn. (57 sts)
Continue repeating the last two rows until you complete Row 26 (including it). By Row 26, you will have 48 stitches.
Count 39 stitches from the bottom (flat side) and place stitch markers on both the right and left sides. Fold the wallet to check if you like the depth and how the flap rests.
Do not chain 1. Slip stitch into the next 9 stitches, or until you reach the stitch marker. Fold the wallet and begin seaming both sides: insert the hook under both loops of the front piece and the back loop of the back piece, making a slip stitch. Continue seaming this way until you reach the corner of the wallet. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.
For the second seam, attach the yarn at the bottom of the wallet (the second corner), seam both sides, and then continue with slip stitches along the wallet flap. Finally, make slip stitches along the sloped edge of the wallet. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.
