Instructions

Head

  • Round 1: Make a magic circle of 6 stitches (6)
  • Round 2: 1 INC, repeat 6 times (12)
  • Round 3: * 1 SC, 1 INC, * repeat 6 times (18)
  • Round 4: * 2 SC, 1 INC, * repeat 6 times (24)
  • Round 5-10: 1 SC in each stitch (24)
  • Round 11: * 3 SC, 1 INC, * repeat 6 times (30)
  • Round 12: * 4 SC, 1 INC, * repeat 6 times (36)
  • Round 13: * 5 SC, 1 INC, * repeat 5 times. Then 1 SC in each stitch for the final 6 stitches (41)
  • Round 14-16: 1 SC in each stitch (41)
  • Round 17: * 5 SC, 1 DEC, * repeat fives times. Then 1 SC in each stitch for the final 6 stitches (36)
  • Round 18: 1 SC in each stitch (36)
  • Round 19: * 4 SC, 1 DEC, * repeat 6 times (30)
  • Round 20: * 3 SC, 1 DEC, * repeat 6 times (24)

Take two safety eyes and attach them just beyond the crochet Labrador puppy’s muzzle

  • Round 21: * 2 SC, 1 DEC, repeat 6 times (18)

Fill the head with toy stuffing. Do not overstuff, make sure you can gently squeeze the head and that stuffing is not separating or poking through the stitches.

  • Round 22: * 1 SC, 1 DEC, repeat 6 times (12)
    Round 23: 1 DEC, repeat 6 times until closed

Then thread your yarn through the needle and sew the head closed. Leave a long string of yarn for attaching the head to the body later.

Ears (make 2)

Nose

Fasten off and leave a long threat. Place the nice slightly higher on the muzzle

Body

Stuff the body with fiberfill and fasten off.

Arms (make 2)

Tail

Assemble The Labrador Dog

  • Attach the legs on the side of the body on row 5 of the bottom
  • Attach the arm at the top of the body
  • Then attach the head on top of the body
  • Attach the ears at row 5 of the head
  • Attach the tail at the back between the legs on row 5
