Crochet Triangular Shawl

Material

  • 90 g wool for needle size 3 - 4 mm (I used “Lisa” from Red Heart)
  • suitable crochet hook - I worked with a 3 mm hook.
  • scissors
  • Wool needle for sewing the threads.

Instructions

Cast on 302 chain stitches or more or less - depending on how big you want your shawl to be.
The number of stitches should be divisible by 5.
The first single crochet is replaced by 2 chain stitches.

Make 2 chain stitches and 299 single crochet stitches.

The pattern begins on the next row.

  1. 7 chain stitches, skip 3 stitches, 1 single crochet, * 7 chain stitches, skip 4 stitches, 1 single crochet * repeat to the end of the row.
  2. Work 1 chain stitch, 3 slip stitches, 7 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the fourth stitch of the next chain stitch arch. * 7 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the fourth stitch of the next arch of chain stitches * - repeat until the last arch.

Repeat the second row until there is only one arch left.

Cut the thread and sew up.
