Materials:
- Large Hollow Plastic Eggs
- Sharp Knife
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun (low heat) & Glue
- Egg Cups
- Preserved Moss
- Dry Foam
- Candle Holders
- Flameless Taper Candles
- E6000 Glue
- Toothpick
- Fresh Flowers
Instructions:
1. *Carefully* use a sharp knife to puncture a hole in the top of the egg and then use scissors to cut off the top in an uneven line, (like the egg actually cracked open). Use the scissors to trim any sharp edges on the egg.
2. Repeat this process until you create enough egg holders. I used 2 eggs.
3. Apply hot glue around the top of your egg cup and place the egg holder on top.
4. Lay the egg candle holder on its side, apply a second layer of hot glue between the egg cup and the egg, and place small pieces of preserved moss on the hot glue. Continue this process around the whole egg candle holder.
5. Flip the egg candle holder upside down on top of a piece of dry foam, and press down gently to create the circle shape of the egg on the dry foam.
6. Remove the egg candle holder and use a knife to cut away the excess dry foam.
7. Apply hot glue to the base of the dry foam and place it inside the egg candle holder.
8. Remove the top of a candle holder from its base, apply e6000 glue to the bottom of the top piece, and then place it in the center of the egg candle holder, pressing firmly down to secure it in place.
9. Use a toothpick to create tiny holes in the dry foam and place the flowers in the dry foam around the top of the candle holder.
10. Place your flameless taper candles in the Egg Candle Holder and enjoy.
Happy Easter!
