Materials:

White plastic Easter egg

Pastel acrylic paint

Fabric flowers (to match paint colour)

Foam berry spike (or other floral decorations)

Equipment:

Paintbrush

Glue gun

Instructions:

Step 1: Find what you need

Gather your supplies and materials.

Step 2: Paint the Easter egg

Paint a faux Easter egg with pastel paint. Allow to dry.

Add a second coat of paint, if needed, for good coverage.

Step 3: Choose your flowers

Cut silk/fabric flowers from the stem.

You’ll need 1 or 2 flowers for each Easter egg, depending on the flower’s size. Cut the stem off, right below the flower, so the back is relatively flat.

Step 4: Attach the flowers

Add hot glue to the back of a flower.

Place the flower on the side of the egg in the center (or just above center).

Repeat, gluing a second flower below the first, if you’d like.

Optional: Add some texture to the center of your flower and decorate it by adding mini foam berries.

Your floral Easter egg is complete!
