Dollar Tree Supplies for Gardening Wreath

Dollar Tree craft wood watering can
Dollar Tree artificial Cosmos bushes (4 bushes used for wreath)
Dollar Tree artificial Queen Anne’s Lace bushes (2 bushes used for wreath)
Grapevine wreath (I used a 16″ wreath for this tutorial)
Craft paint
Small paint brushes
Hot glue
Wire cutters

How to Make the Gardening Wreath

1) Paint the Watering Can Wood Sign

Use acrylic craft paint and small paint brushes to paint the watering can wood sign. Start by painting the watering can a light color (in case you get paint on the letters like I did). Then paint the letters and flowers carefully with a thin brush.

2) Clip Stems from the Flowers

Use a pair of wire cutters to cut the stems from the flowers. Leave a little over an inch on stem remaining so you can use it to stick it into the grapevine wreath.

3) Insert Flowers into Grapevine Wreath

Poke the flowers into the top of the grapevine wreath. They hold pretty well on their own, but you can also add a dab of hot glue to the base of the flower before inserting it to keep it secure. Start by scattering the Cosmo flowers evenly around the wreath. Then fill in any gaps with the yellow Queen Anne’s Lace.

4) Hang Wood Sign from Center

Finish your garden wreath by hanging the painted wood sign from the center. I used the hanger that comes with the sign to attach it to the wreath. That’s it!
