300 yds/274m of #4 medium weight yarn, pictured in Furls Whims Merino light grey (MC) ~200 yds and ~100 yds (CC) charcoal.


Tools

5mm crochet hook, or hook needed to meet gauge

yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape


Instructions

Start In CC (charcoal grey) Fdc 219 or Ch 221 and dc in 3rd ch from your hook (skipped chs do not count), and in each ch across, turn. (219 sts)
In MC (light grey)

Ch 3, *{sl st in next st, dc in next st} rep from * across, turn. (219 sts)

Finishing

Continue from where you are, ch 1, work along short edge of scarf. Single crochet across. If you prefer, sc evenly around scarf. Or, cut yarn and join yarn on other short end with a slip stitch, ch 1 and sc across. Cut yarn and weave in ends.
