Finished Size: about 3.5" tall sitting, plus horns

You will need:
medium weight yarn in brown, black, and cream/white (sample made in Loops and Threads Impeccable in Soft Taupe, Dark Charcoal, and Aran)
G crochet hook (4/4.25 mm)
2- 6 mm safety eyes
Polyfil fiberfill
yarn needle
stitch markers
scissors
black embroidery floss and needle

Instructions:
The body and head are made in one piece, the other pieces are made separately and sewn on. All of the pieces, except the ears, the tail, and the belly, are made beginning with a magic ring (mr).

Body
Make 1 with brown, beginning with magic ring
Round 1: in mr, ch 1, 6 sc (6 sc)
Round 2: 2 sc in each st (12 sc)
Round 3: [2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next st] repeat around (18 sc)
Rounds 4-8: 1 sc in each st (18 sc)
Begin stuffing and continue stuffing as you work
Round 9: sc2tog around (9 sc)
Round 10: 2 sc in each st (18 sc)
Round 11: [2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 2 sts] repeat around (24 sc)
Round 12-15: 1 sc in each st (24 sc)
Round 16: [sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts] repeat around (18 sc)
Insert safety eyes between rounds 13 and 14 about 3 stitches apart
Round 17: [sc2tog, sc in next st] repeat around (12 sc)
Round 18: sc2tog around (6 sc)
Finish off, weave in ends

Nose
Make 1 with white/cream, beginning with magic ring
Round 1: in mr, ch 1, 6 sc (6 sc)
Round 2: [2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next st] repeat around (9 sc)
Round 3: [2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 2 sts] repeat around (12 sc)
Finish off and cut yarn leaving long tail for sewing
Embroider a nose to the end of the nose piece
Add a little bit of stuffing inside the nose piece and sew to the head just below the eyes

Horns
Make 2 with black, beginning with magic ring
Round 1: in mr, ch 1, 4 sc (4 sc)
Round 2: 1 sc in each st (4 sc)
Rounds 3-5: 2 sc in first st, sc2tog, 1 sc in last st (4 sc)
Finish off and cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing
Sew the horns to the top of the head

Ears
Make 2 with brown, beginning with a ch
ch 3
sl st in the ch closest to the hook, sc in the next 2 ch (1 sl st, 2 sc)
Finish off and cut yarn, leaving long tail for sewing
Stitch the ears to the head, slightly to the side of the horns

Belly
Make 1 with white/cream, adding black where indicated, beginning with chain
ch 4
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch to end (3 sc)
Row 2-5: ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each st (3 sc)
Use black yarn to sc up each side of the belly working one sc in the side of each row
Finish off and cut yarn, leaving long tail for sewing
Stitch the belly patch to the front of the body

Legs
Make 4 starting with black and switching to brown where indicated, beginning with magic ring
Round 1: in mr, ch 1, 6 sc (6 sc)
Round 2: 1 sc in blo of each st (6 sc)
switch to brown
Rounds 3-5: 1 sc in each st (6 sc)
Finish off and cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing
Sew the 2 of the legs/arms to the side of the body just below the head, sew the other 2 to the bottom side of the body in a sitting position

Tail
Make 1 with black, beginning with chain
ch 4
sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the next 2 ch (3 sc)
Finish off and cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing
Sew to the bottom of the back side of the body
