Supplies:
Size I crochet hook
Worsted weight yarn (I used 100% cotton)
Pattern:
Ch 4
Row 1: (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in 4th ch from hook. Turn.
Row 2: ch 3, (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch 2 space, ch 2, sc in top of tch. Turn.
Row 3: slip stitch to first ch 2 space, ch 3, (dc, ch 2, dc) in same space, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in each ch 2 space across, Turn.
Row 4: ch 3, (sc, ch 2, sc) in each ch 2 space across, ch 2, sc in top of tch. Turn.
Rows 5-14: Repeat rows 3 & 4.
(I stopped here for a child size bandana headband, you may repeat rows 3 and 4, again, for a larger bandana headband.)
Row 15: ch 1, sc in each sc and ch 1 space across, sc on tch, Turn.
Rows 16 & 17: ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.
Row 18: ch 40, starting in 2nd ch, sl st in each ch, sl st in in each sc, ch 40. Turn.
Row 19: starting in 2nd ch, sl st in each ch, join with sl st to 1st sc.
Finish off and weave in ends.
