Diy Recipe Card Holder
Creating your own DIY recipe card holder is a fun and practical project that can add a personal touch to your kitchen. Using simple materials like wood or cork, you can customize your holder to match your style and keep all your favorite recipes organized while cooking. It's a great way to showcase your creativity and make meal prep more enjoyable. Plus, every time you use it, you'll be reminded of the effort you put into making something unique for your culinary adventures.
This is a very easy diy project that you could make in under an hour.
I used 14 gauge copper wire to form the wire spiral to hold a recipe card, lightly hammered it to work harden, and help it hold it’s shape.
Dipped it in liver of sulfur to add a patina. Once I painted the leftover spindle, I drilled my hole in the top center, a little larger then the wire itself.
Add a dab of glue to the end of the wire before placing in the hole. Tie some jute or scrap fabric around the neck and your done.
Wasn’t that easy? What kind of project have you made using wooden spindles?
