2oz total- #4/Worsted Weight Cotton (used Paintbox Aran Cotton)
#7/4.5 mm Hook
Lg eye needle for weaving ends
Scissors
Finished size: 7.5” W x 7.5” H

dc- double crochet
fpdc- front post double crochet
bpdc- back post double crochet
sk- skip
sp- space

Pattern: If you choose to stripe- make your color change on an even row.

R1- ch 37, dc in the fourth ch from the hook and the remaining chains. (35 dc)
R2- ch2, turn, sk the first dc (fpdc around 3 dc, bpdc around 3dc) across to last 4, fpdc around 3dc, dc in the turning ch from the original starting ch. (35 st)
R3- ch2, turn, sk the first dc, (bpdc around 3, fpdc around 3) across, bpdc around 3, dc in ch2 turning ch. (35 st)
R4- ch2, turn, sk the first dc, (bpdc around 3, fpdc around 3) across, bpdc around 3, dc in ch2 turning ch. (35 st)

R5- ch2, turn, sk the first dc, (fpdc around 3, bpdc around 3) across, fpdc around 3, dc in ch2 turning ch. (35 st)
R6- ch2, turn, sk the first dc (fpdc around 3, bpdc around 3) across, fpdc around 3dc, dc in ch2 turning ch. (35 st)
R7- ch2, turn, sk the first dc, (bpdc around 3, fpdc around 3) across, bpdc around 3dc, dc in ch2 turning ch. (35 st)

R8-21- Repeat R4-R7.
Cut yarn and tuck in ends.
