Size G/6/4mm aluminum crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
9 (1 1/8-inch-diameter) white plastic rings
Sewing needle and matching thread

Instructions
Motif (make 9)
Join cream to plastic ring with slip knot.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 30 sc over plastic ring; join in first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same sc; *ch 4, sk next 4 sc, sc in next sc; rep from * 4 times more; ch 4; join in first sc. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join blue in any ch-4 sp; ch 1, in same sp and in each rem ch-4 sp work (sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc)-petal made; join in first sc. (6 petals)
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
Assembly
Referring to photo for placement, arrange 6 motifs around 1 motif. With sewing needle and matching thread, tack center dc of corresponding petals tog. Tack 1 motif to each end to form diamond shape.
