  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Drops Safran 100% cotton yarn weight/length: 50 g = approx 160 m. Color - 69 (blush).
  • 30 grams (96 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.00 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):
  • st./sts - stitch / stitches
  • ch - chain
  • sl st. - slip stitch
  • sc - single crochet
  • dc - double crochet
  • trc - treble crochet
  • dc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 double crochet closed together
  • trc5(6)tog - 5 or 6 treble crochet closed together
  • ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into 3rd ch from hook, yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.
  • [ ]* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

Instructions:

Ch4, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 8sc into ring.

Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 2: ch6 (counts as 1dc + ch3),

(1dc into next sc st., ch3)* repeat 7 times around.

Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch6.

Round 3: sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as 1dc), 3dc into same ch3 space, ch2,
