What you’ll need:

First, you take the plastic ball and put a small dab of glue on the top of the ball.

Place the beginning part of your twine on the glue.

Then put a thin layer of glue on either side of the already glued twine and wrap your loose twine around this placed twine in a circular motion.

*** If the glue is squeezing up between the twine you are using too much glue – which is always my problem. If this does happen you can easily pull off the glue, once it has dried.

Continue working around the ball with your twine until it is completely covered.

Once you have wrapped the whole ball in twine and there is just a small hole uncovered on top, use your scissors to cut your twine at the correct length to cover the small whole. Dap a bit of glue in the hole and place your cut twine inside. Then take your hot glue gun and press it into the newly covered hole to ensure that it stays sealed.

All that is left is to decide if you want to leave them simply wrapped in twine or if you want to add a delicate touch of lace.
