Make Adorable Plastic Easter Egg Bunnies — Easy Kid-Friendly Easter Craft
The Plastic Easter Egg Bunny is a delightful, kid-friendly craft that adds whimsy to your Easter decorations or egg hunts. This project uses inexpensive plastic eggs and basic craft supplies to create tiny bunnies and carrot props — perfect for family crafting time or table decorations.

Supplies:
- plastic Easter eggs
- scissors
- pipe cleaners
- googly eyes
- pom poms
- craft glue – Aleene’s Tacky glue works great or glue dots as well.
- black marker
Basic supplies for the project: eggs, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, pom-poms, glue and a marker.
Instructions:
1. Many plastic eggs have a tiny hole at each end. If needed, carefully enlarge the hole slightly by twisting the tip of a pair of scissors (adult supervision recommended).
2. Thread a pipe cleaner through the hole at the top of the egg. Bend and shape the pipe cleaner to form the bunny’s ears. Optionally, thread another pipe cleaner through the bottom hole to create little feet or a stand.

3. Glue on googly eyes and a pom-pom for the nose; add a pom-pom tail on the back if you like. Use a black permanent marker to draw a smile or whiskers.
4. To make a carrot prop, use an orange plastic egg. Cut three short (about 1-inch) pieces of green pipe cleaner and thread them through the top hole to mimic carrot greens. Decorate the carrot with googly eyes and a marker if you want a playful face.
