SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.
HDC: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three stitches.

Round 1: Chain 1. 9Hdc into the magic ring. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (9 Hdc)
