Independence Day Fabric Banner Sign

Material List

20″ cedar fence picket
Letters and Stars stencils and stenciling sponge
Blue and White acrylic paint
Red and White fabric
Wire for hanging
Staple Gun

I had already used my magic aging solution on my cedar picket to give it an aged look, then I dry brushed midnight blue on the front of my wood picket without covering it completely.
After that dried I used white acrylic paint an stenciled my lettering and stars onto my picket.

Then there was light! I then cut my fabric strips for my 4th of July fabric banner sign approximately 18″ in length and 1″ wide.

I cut a total of twenty fabric strips, ten red, and ten white.

Using my handheld stapler I start by folding one end over and stapling the fabric strip to the bottom of my 4th of July fabric banner sign.

Continue stapling your fabric strips until you have them all in place.

Drill a hole in the top corner of each end then add your wire for hanging and that’s it.
