Make A Tulle Wreath

Crafting a tulle wreath can be a fantastic DIY project that allows you to unleash your creativity and add a personal touch to your home. With a variety of colors and styles to choose from, you can customize your tulle wreath to match any season or theme. Guests are sure to be impressed by the enchanting beauty of your tulle wreath hanging proudly on your door or wall, welcoming everyone with its magical allure.

Make A Tulle Wreath

Here are the things you’ll need for your wreath:

Tulle (about two yards for a 10” diameter foam circle) cut into uniform pieces, e.g. 2” x 12”)
Foam circle
Scissors and glue
Wide ribbon
Decorative pieces (e.g. rhinestones, sequins, etc.)

1. Wrap Foam Circle

Because tulle is sheer, your wreath will look much better if you wrap it in ribbon before applying the material. Be sure to choose a color that will complement the tulle.

2. Add Tulle

Tie your cut strips in double knots around the circle, paying attention to the ends being even so you get a nice, uniform look. If you are using multiple colors, alternate them as you tie them on. You can use longer tulle strips for a bolder wreath, or shorter ones if you would like a more subdued look.

3. Apply Decorations

For a fall-themed wreath, find some fake leaves. If you’re decorating for the holidays, add some fake berries. The possibilities are endless, so don’t be afraid to get creative.

4. Display Your Wreath

Luckily these decorations are very lightweight and can be hung from a door or a wall with a small nail. They can even be hung from matching or contrasting ribbon at different levels if you want to make a wall display of different sized wreaths.
