Gauge:

6 Hdc = 2 Inches

Stitches:

CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

HDC: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three loops.

Round 1: Chain 1. 10Hdc. Join with a SS to the fir Hdc made.

Round 2: Chain 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made.

Round 3: Chain 1. (2Hdc. Hdc.) x’s 2 (3, 4). Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (22, (23, 24))

Round 4 – 7: Chain 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (22 (23, 24))

Round 8 – 19 (20, 21): Chain 1. Hdc in the 3rd loop around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (22 (23, 24)

Heel:

Row 1: Chain 1. Sc in the next 12 stitches.

Row 2 – 5: Chain 1. Sc2tog. Sc across until 2 stitches remain. Sc2tog. (4)

Row 6 – 9: Chain 1. 2sc. Sc across until 1 stitch remains. 2Sc. (12)

SS to the side of the 12th stitch from row 1 of heel.

Ankle:

Round 1: Chain 1. Hdc in the 3rd loop around. Hdc in each Sc of Row 9 of heel. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (22 (23, 24))

Round 2 – 5: Chain 1. Hdc in the 3rd loop around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (22 (23, 24))

Round 6 – 7: Chain 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (22 (23, 24))

Finish off. Weave in Ends. Sew up sides of heel.
