Simple Easter Mason jar centerpiece: candy base with faux tulips and ribbon.
Materials
- One clean Mason jar
- 1 bag M&Ms or jelly beans
- Cardboard tube (paper towel or toilet paper roll)
- Ribbon or twine
- Fake tulips or other faux spring flowers
Instructions
- Place the cardboard tube in the center of the empty Mason jar. The tube creates a hollow center for the flower stems.
- Carefully pour the candy into the jar, filling the space around the tube so the colorful candies form the visible outer layer.
- Insert the faux tulip stems into the tube so the flowers sit above the candy.
- Tie a ribbon or twine around the rim of the jar to finish the look.
Tips & variations
- Use real flowers by placing a small water-filled floral tube inside the cardboard roll or replace the cardboard with a floral pick; change the water daily.
- Swap candies for decorative stones, colored sand, moss, or small ornaments to fit different styles.
- Group jars of varying heights and colors for a fuller centerpiece arrangement.
- If children will handle the jars, consider using only faux elements to avoid accidental ingestion of candy.
