Cozy Crochet Lavender Love Cowl — Easy Pattern & Step‑by‑Step Rows
Make a soft, charming lavender cowl that’s perfect for cooler days. The Crochet Lavender Love Cowl uses basic stitches and a repeating shell-like pattern for a textured look — a quick, beginner-friendly project you can wear right away or gift to someone special.
The finished cowl is worked in the round (you join each row to form a loop), creating a seamless tube that layers easily over coats and sweaters. Use a worsted-weight acrylic like Red Heart Super Saver, or swap yarns for a different drape and warmth.

Materials:
Scissors
Crochet Hook H/8 - 5.00 mm
Yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver)
Notes:
- This pattern uses basic stitches and is suitable for beginners comfortable with DC, HDC and SC.
- The cowl is worked in joined rows to create a loop; when a row says to connect the last stitch to the very stitch, that forms the seamless join.
Crochet Terms:
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
SS = Slip Stitch
ST(S) = Stitch(es)
CH = Chain

Finishing tips:
- Weave in ends with a yarn needle and trim excess yarn.
- Light blocking can help even out the stitches and open the textured pattern slightly.
- To adjust the circumference, change the starting chain in multiples that keep the stitch-repeat intact; to adjust height, add or remove full pattern rows before finishing.
