Chalkboard flower pots are not only a fun and creative way to add a personal touch to your garden or home decor but also a fantastic DIY project for all ages! Simply grab some terracotta pots, chalkboard paint, and your favorite colorful chalks, and let your imagination bloom. Whether you’re labeling your herbs, jotting down motivational quotes, or just doodling to brighten your day, these chalkboard flower pots are sure to bring a touch of whimsy and charm to any space. So, grab your supplies, get creative, and let your plants and creativity flourish together!

Here’s all you need…clay flower pots, 3x5 note card as a template, chalkboard paint, painter’s tape and ribbon to finish them off!

And here’s what you do:
Position the 3x5 card on the pot, secure with tape and trace around it with a pencil.
Remove the card and use painter’s tape to mark off the pencil lines.
Paint with chalkboard paint. I used two coats and that seemed to be enough. Remove the tape when the paint has had time to dry.

Add a seasonal phrase with chalk and finish with ribbon, securing it with hot glue. I used burlap ribbon so that it could go with any time of year.
