Instructions

1. Fill the jar you have selected with the candy you have chosen.

2. Prepare the ears and feet by cutting shapes from colorful candy cups. Cut the ear shapes so they are tall enough to stand above the jar lid, and cut two matching feet pieces for the base.
The ears need to stand up on top of the bunny’s head. To make this happen, leave little tabs on the bottoms of the ear shapes which you can fold perpendicular to them. That way you can put glue on the bottoms of the tabs to attach the ears to the jar, and the ears will stand upright.

3. Turn the jar upside-down so that the cap is at the bottom. Use hot glue to attach the folded ear tabs to the top (which is now at the bottom when inverted) so the ears stand upright. Then hot glue the feet to the cap so the jar can sit upright when turned back over.

4. Make the bunny’s face: attach googly eyes with hot glue, crisscross two Q-tips and glue them as whiskers, then add a pink pom pom over the whiskers as the bunny’s nose. Adjust spacing to create a friendly expression.

Voila! You have turned a jar into a cute bunny candy container for Easter. These make great table decorations, small gifts, or party favors. Hot glue is hot—take care while assembling and keep glue gun use supervised for kids.
