DIY Easter Paper Carrot Box — Cute & Easy 4-Step Gift Favors
Make charming carrot-shaped favor boxes for Easter with just paper, a ruler, scissors and glue. These bright orange paper carrot boxes are perfect for treats, small gifts, or table decorations — quick to make and easy to personalize.
Below is a clear 4-step guide to cut, fold and finish your own paper carrot boxes. Use A5 paper (or half an A4) in orange, and add green paper tops tied with a ribbon to close each box.

Here are the steps!
1. Start by gathering your supplies. The paper is an A5 paper or half of an A4 paper. Cardstock or slightly thicker paper works best so the box holds its shape.

2. Next, grab a ruler and draw an array of straight lines as pictured below. The reason you need a ruler and not just a straight edge is that you want all the line segments to be the same length. These lines mark the folds that shape the body of the carrot box.

3. Next, cut out the shape as shown below. Then, fold along the line segments so that you get your box. Score along fold lines for crisper folds, then glue the tabs together to assemble the carrot-shaped box.

4. The last step is to cut out two carrot tops. Glue them onto opposing sides of the carrot, and then use a little green ribbon to tie them together. This is how you close your box and complete the project. Add sweets or a small gift before tying the ribbon closed.

Tips: decorate with markers, stickers or glitter if desired. Make several in different sizes or colors to create a festive Easter display.
