Materials:
White plastic Easter egg
Pastel acrylic paint
Fabric flowers (to match paint colour)
Foam berry spike (or other floral decorations)
Equipment:
Paintbrush
Glue gun
Instructions:
Step 1: Find what you need
Gather your supplies and materials.

Step 2: Paint the Easter egg
Paint a faux Easter egg with pastel paint. Allow to dry.

Add a second coat of paint, if needed, for good coverage.

Step 3: Choose your flowers
Cut silk/fabric flowers from the stem.

You’ll need 1 or 2 flowers for each Easter egg, depending on the flower’s size. Cut the stem off, right below the flower, so the back is relatively flat.

Step 4: Attach the flowers
Add hot glue to the back of a flower.

Place the flower on the side of the egg in the center (or just above center).

Repeat, gluing a second flower below the first, if you’d like.

Optional: Add some texture to the center of your flower and decorate it by adding mini foam berries.

Your floral Easter egg is complete!
Quick tips: Use a low-temperature glue gun if children will help, or let an adult do the gluing. If silk flowers have shiny backs, sand lightly for better glue adhesion. Mix and match flower sizes and berry accents for varied looks.
